Project

I wanted to make a tree skirt last year, but never got around to it. I have been needing a project to work on and I thought it would take me a lot longer to do, but here it's not even Halloween and I'm already done. I think it turned out pretty cute considering I didn't have a pattern. Anyone have any suggestions for a new project?

That's awesome! I need to make one too. I got the one we have at the dollar store and it was trashed last year. I've been working on a Halloween Advent Calendar http://tipjunkie.blogspot.com/2008/10/halloween-countdown-advent-calendars.html and I"m going to start some puppets for Christmas presents. http://www.landofnod.com/family.aspx?c=2003&f=4031&pc=1225 You should come and play with us!

Wow - that only took you 5 minutes!! Hey, will you sew all of Elsie's dance costumes when she gets older?

It's cute! I wish I knew how to do stuff like that, but it's certainly not my forte. As for project ideas, I have been trying to get into scrapbooking but I'm not having a lot of success at the moment. Maybe you can do better at that if you're not already doing it. : ) Other than that I'm just not creative. Ooh! OR...you can create some of your own recipes and make a new recipe book! I have been wanting to do that too.
