For those of you that are interested, I peeled, cored and sliced about 12 apples (mixed variety). Put them in a crockpot with about 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of sugar and sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg. I let them cook for about 2 hours and then mashed with a potato masher. That's it!
The finished product. It's quite tasty and makes your house smell so good.
I also love pumpkin anything. This is a batch of pumpkin chocolate chip muffins I just pulled out of the oven. Is your mouth watering yet? I found the recipe online here.Happy Fall everyone!

WOW-you go Jen!! Now, I don't like applesauce, but Wika does...and I am sure Emma will, so I will keep this recipe in mind. However...I too LOVE anything pumpkin,so I will be checking out that recipe ASAP!! Love ya cuz!
