Easter
Wade was pretty excited about his first Easter basket...I was excited for the chocolate. And Phil found all of the eggs the Easter Bunny hid!
Air and Space
Someone made fun of us for reviewing entertainment items on this blog, so I think we're going to give up and have every post just be about Wade. Unless there is some significant event worth mentioning, I suppose.
Wade made a trip up to the National Air and Space Museum because he wanted to see the 3-D movie about the Space Center they have there. Unfortunately, he was ready for a nap by the time the show got started. He had to settle for a picnic out in front of the Washington Monument. It's his favorite monument so far, that's what he told me.
He learned about all kinds of planes inside the museum, too. There were several planes/helicopters that made special records, like going around the whole world, which begs the question, "Why do you need to fly around the world without stopping or refueling?" I guess if there are records to make, people will make them. This one plane looked like it hardly had enough room for one person, but there were two, and they flew it all the way around the world. They were engaged before they took off, and after the 9 day nonstop flight, they decided to call it off.
And an obligatory shot to make you smile:

2 Months
Yesterday was Wade's 2 month mark. To celebrate he had to go to the doctor today to get three shots. He was a champ, only crying for a few seconds (before promptly falling asleep). He is now 12 lbs. 7 oz. (75th percentile) and 24.5 in. (95th percentile). He is growing so fast!Isn't this so sad! He almost made me cry, I just hope he doesn't hate me now!
